Job Duties
- Maintains presence at host stand and door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers
- Monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers' dining experience
- Observes proper telephone etiquette
- Handles reservations through OpenTable platform including VIPs and any additional inquiries regarding hours of operation, specials, events, etc.
- Organizes reservations, maximizes seating during operating hours, and optimizes staffing and customer traffic
- Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system
- Keeps flow of service to standards such as proper seating of customers to each wait station
