Job Description
The Front Desk/Receptionist role is an essential and dynamic position within our team, requiring an enthusiastic individual ready to engage with patients, doctors, insurance providers, and office operations in a fast-paced setting. This full-time, in-office position involves managing high volumes of patient interactions, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance verification and payments. Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service or receptionist role
- Ability to work full time in office
- Saturday coverage required with assigned weekday off
- Proficient with electronic scheduling and record systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in customer service/receptionist/front desk duties
- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Portuguese preferred
- Dental experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Interacting in a high-volume patient practice
- Learning schedule needs - checking patients in and out
- Computer savvy: no paper charting, all forms are completed electronically
- Making recall appointments and confirming schedule
- Collecting payments and co-pays
- Verify insurance eligibility, contact insurances when applicable
- Work with office managers, supervisors and operations team on how to resolve issues and answer questions
