Job Description

The Front Desk/Receptionist role is an essential and dynamic position within our team, requiring an enthusiastic individual ready to engage with patients, doctors, insurance providers, and office operations in a fast-paced setting. This full-time, in-office position involves managing high volumes of patient interactions, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance verification and payments. Job Requirements

  • At least high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer service or receptionist role
  • Ability to work full time in office
  • Saturday coverage required with assigned weekday off
  • Proficient with electronic scheduling and record systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in customer service/receptionist/front desk duties
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish/Portuguese preferred
  • Dental experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Interacting in a high-volume patient practice
  • Learning schedule needs - checking patients in and out
  • Computer savvy: no paper charting, all forms are completed electronically
  • Making recall appointments and confirming schedule
  • Collecting payments and co-pays
  • Verify insurance eligibility, contact insurances when applicable
  • Work with office managers, supervisors and operations team on how to resolve issues and answer questions
