Job Description
Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is a well-established multi-specialty dental practice serving New Jersey communities with multiple convenient locations. Our office offers a comprehensive range of dental services specializing in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics. Known for our commitment to providing exceptional patient care and advanced dental treatments, Abra Dental has built a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and a friendly environment. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring they receive personalized attention and effective dental solutions.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk/Receptionist to join our busy dental team. This full-time, in-office position plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for our patients and is essential to the smooth operation of our high-volume dental practice. The role requires a friendly, easy-going attitude combined with excellent organizational and communication skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As a Front Desk/Receptionist at Abra Dental, the candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, and facilitating patient flow through the office. You will interact directly with patients, dental professionals, insurance companies, and other administrative staff to schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and ensure all patient information is accurately recorded using our electronic systems. Our office operates fully digitally with no paper charting, hence being computer savvy and comfortable with electronic medical records and forms is essential.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of customer service or front desk experience, with dental office background considered a plus but not mandatory. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or Portuguese are highly desirable to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with office managers and the operations team are key to success in this role.
This position requires coverage on Saturdays alongside a weekday off, with the office open six days a week. Working hours vary through the week, including early mornings and evenings, to accommodate patient needs and ensure excellent service availability.
Joining Abra Dental means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated to patient care and professional growth. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with matching contributions, paid time off including sick leave, life insurance, and ongoing career advancement opportunities with performance-based pay increases. The company fosters a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and build a rewarding career in dental healthcare administration.
If you are a motivated individual passionate about delivering excellent customer service and ready to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy setting, we encourage you to apply for our Front Desk/Receptionist role at Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office. Your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our growing dental practice.
