We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk/Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. This full-time, in-office position requires an individual who is friendly, easy-going, and ready to work in a busy, high-volume patient practice. The role involves direct interaction with patients, dentists, insurance companies, and managing a high volume of phone calls. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electronic record-keeping and appointment scheduling systems is essential since the practice uses paperless charting methods.

The Front Desk/Receptionist will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the office by greeting patients, managing appointment schedules, verifying insurance eligibility, and processing payments. This position also requires the ability to assist office managers and supervisors with problem resolution and operational questions. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese are highly preferred. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or receptionist roles
  • Ability to handle high-volume phone calls
  • Proficient with electronic scheduling and record keeping
  • Must be friendly and easy going
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must adhere to company policies and compliance guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Have at least 2 years' experience in customer service/receptionist position/front desk duties

  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment

Job Duties

  • Interacting in a high-volume patient practice
  • Learning schedule needs- checking patients in and out
  • Computer savvy - all forms are completed electronically
  • Making recall appointments and confirming schedule
  • Collecting payments and co-pays
  • Verify insurance eligibility, contact insurances when applicable
  • Work with office managers, supervisors and operations team on how to resolve issues and answer questions
