Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years experience in customer service or receptionist duties
  • must be friendly and easy going
  • capable of handling high volume phone calls
  • computer savvy
  • able to work full-time in office
  • available to work saturday with assigned weekday off
  • willing to work within scheduled office hours
  • strong communication skills
  • problem solving and analytical skills
  • bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred

Job Duties

  • interacting in a high-volume patient practice
  • learning schedule needs - checking patients in and out
  • computer savvy: no paper charting, all forms are completed electronically
  • making recall appointments and confirming schedule
  • collecting payments and co-pays
  • verify insurance eligibility, contact insurances when applicable
  • work with office managers, supervisors and operations team on how to resolve issues and answer questions
