Job Description

Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is a reputable multi-specialty dental practice headquartered in New Jersey with multiple locations across the state. We specialize in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics, providing comprehensive oral health care services to patients of all ages. At Abra Dental, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient experiences through a blend of advanced technology, skilled professionals, and compassionate care. Our modern facilities operate with cutting-edge electronic systems eliminating paper charting to streamline patient management and enhance operational efficiency. We foster a vibrant and supportive work environment that encourages growth, learning, and career advancement.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk/Receptionist to join our dedicated dental team. This is a full-time, in-office role requiring coverage six days a week including Saturdays, with an assigned weekday off. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:20 AM to 6:00 PM; Wednesday from 9:20 AM to 7:00 PM; Friday from 7:20 AM to 5:00 PM; and Saturday from 7:20 AM to 2:00 PM. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our busy, high-volume practice, acting as the first point of contact for patients, doctors, and insurance companies. The person in this role must be approachable, friendly, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As the Front Desk/Receptionist, you will interact directly with patients, assisting them through check-in and check-out processes while learning and managing schedule needs. You will be responsible for answering a high volume of phone calls, making recall appointments, and confirming schedules. Additionally, you'll be collecting payments and co-pays from patients efficiently and accurately, verifying insurance eligibility, and communicating with insurance providers when necessary. Cooperation with office managers, supervisors, and the operations team to resolve any issues or answer inquiries is another key component of this role.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in customer service or receptionist roles, with prior dental experience considered a plus but not mandatory. Being bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is highly valued to better serve our diverse patient community. This position offers an amazing benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with matching contributions, paid time off plus paid sick time, life insurance, and a career ladder opportunity with pay increases based on performance and evaluation. Employees must adhere closely to the organization’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct, maintaining integrity and regulatory compliance throughout their work. Join our team and become part of an organization where your efforts truly make a difference in the oral health and lives of our patients.
