Job Description
Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is a reputable multi-specialty dental practice with numerous locations throughout New Jersey. Specializing in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics, we are committed to providing comprehensive dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team is dedicated to enhancing patient experiences through high-quality treatment and seamless administrative processes. We pride ourselves on maintaining a patient-first approach, ensuring both comfort and satisfaction from the moment patients enter our doors to their post-treatment follow-ups. With a focus on innovative techniques and continuous improvement, Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is a leader in the community for dental health services.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk/Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. This full-time, in-office role requires a highly organized and friendly individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in customer service, receptionist duties, or front desk functions, with dental office experience being a plus but not mandatory. Fluency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable as the role involves direct communication with a diverse patient base.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, confirming appointments, and making recall arrangements while ensuring all documentation is completed electronically. You will interact closely with patients, dental professionals, insurance providers, and internal management teams. Duties also include collecting payments, verifying insurance eligibility, and addressing patient and operational inquiries with a professional and solution-oriented approach. Working alongside office managers and the operations team, you will help resolve any issues to maintain efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Our practice emphasizes professional growth and offers a supportive atmosphere encouraging career development, including performance-based pay increases and career ladder opportunities. This position requires availability Monday through Saturday with Saturday coverage mandatory and an assigned weekday off. Office hours vary throughout the week, from early morning to evening shifts, accommodating the busy schedules of both staff and patients.
Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is also proud to offer a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K with matching, paid time off and sick leave, life insurance, and more. We value integrity, ethics, and compliance, expecting all employees to uphold our organization's policies and contribute to a culture of excellence. Join our dedicated team and play a crucial part in delivering outstanding dental care and exceptional patient experiences every day.
