Job Description
Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office is a reputable and dynamic multi-specialty dental practice with numerous locations across New Jersey. We specialize in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics, providing comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient base. Our dedicated team of dental professionals is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences through innovative treatments, personalized care plans, and a friendly office atmosphere. Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages can receive quality dental care in a comfortable and efficient setting. We are continually growing and adapting to new dental technologies and methodologies, ensuring our patients benefit from the latest advancements in oral health care.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk/Receptionist to join our busy dental team as a full-time, in-office position. This role requires a calm and friendly demeanor, with a strong ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume patient practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, managing interactions with doctors, insurance providers, and responding to numerous phone inquiries each day. While prior dental experience is a plus, we value at least two years of customer service, receptionist, or front desk experience. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, as all patient forms and charting are completed electronically, eliminating the need for paper documentation.
This Front Desk/Administrative Assistant position involves various key responsibilities, including checking patients in and out, scheduling and confirming appointments, processing payments and co-pays, verifying insurance eligibility, and collaborating with office managers and the operations team to resolve any issues or questions. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a growing, fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese, are highly encouraged to apply, as multilingual communication is essential in serving our diverse patient population.
The position offers an amazing benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with matching contributions, paid time off plus paid sick time, life insurance, and excellent career advancement opportunities with performance-based pay increases. Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:20 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:20 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 7:20 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:20 AM to 2:00 PM. Saturday coverage is required, with an assigned weekday off to support work-life balance.
At Abra Dental / Pearly Whites Dental Office, all employees are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and regulatory compliance as part of our comprehensive organizational policies and code of conduct. Joining our team means becoming part of a dedicated workforce committed to advancing oral health and patient satisfaction in a supportive and rewarding work environment.
