Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, receptionist or front desk duties
  • Ability to interact with patients and staff professionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills for electronic form completion and scheduling
  • Ability to handle high volume phone calls
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Must be easy going and friendly
  • Availability to work full time including Saturday coverage
  • Willingness to work assigned weekday off

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in customer service, receptionist position, or front desk duties

  • Problem solving skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred

Job Duties

  • Interacting in a high-volume patient practice
  • Learning schedule needs - checking patients in and out
  • Computer savvy - no paper charting, all forms are completed electronically
  • Making recall appointments and confirming schedule
  • Collecting payments and co-pays
  • Verify insurance eligibility, contact insurances when applicable
  • Work with office managers, supervisors and operations team on how to resolve issues and answer questions
