Job Description
Breakthru Beverage Group is a leading distributor in the beverage alcohol industry, known for its extensive portfolio and commitment to quality service. The company operates across multiple regions, delivering a wide range of spirits, wines, and beers to retailers and customers. As a major player in the market operations sector, Breakthru Beverage Group combines innovative logistics with experienced teams to ensure efficient and reliable delivery solutions. The company values a culture of safety, compliance, and employee development, offering a dynamic environment for professionals dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The role of a Warehouse Supervisor at Breakthru Beverage Group is pivotal to the smooth execution of logistics and inventory control. This full-time position is responsible for directing the workforce in the loading of cases of wine and spirits onto the company's delivery trucks, ensuring the accuracy, safety, and timeliness of shipments. The Warehouse Supervisor administers inventory management by receiving, storing, and delivering items while supervising workers engaged in verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments. The role demands a strong focus on operational efficiency, compliance with local and federal regulations including OSHA standards, and maintaining warehouse security.
Key responsibilities include managing the entire process of picking orders and loading trucks, minimizing product breakage, and ensuring scheduled dispatch times are met. The supervisor monitors equipment functionality, reports damages, oversees product handling to prevent losses, and maintains storage organization in line with storage design principles. In addition, the role involves direct supervision of associates, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluation, all performed in accordance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
An essential aspect of the Warehouse Supervisor’s duties is to ensure compliance with all safety, warehousing, and shipping requirements. This extends to managing work-related injuries, ensuring OSHA compliance, and promoting secure warehouse operations. The position requires managing beverage alcohol products responsibly and executing other related duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates must be adept at multitasking, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. The role offers a challenging but rewarding opportunity for professionals seeking to contribute to the operational success of a major beverage distributor.
