Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a high-volume hospitality setting
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
  • knowledge of proper food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
  • willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6-10 hours per shift)
  • ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs
  • ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to ovens, grills, and fryers
  • ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions, including chopping, stirring, and plating food

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a high-volume hospitality setting
  • skilled in preparing fresh ingredients and a variety of dishes
  • knowledge of proper food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • strong communication and multitasking skills

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock kitchen stations according to restaurant guidelines
  • maintain fast, accurate service to ensure all dishes meet Nick's quality standards
  • assist with prep work, including chopping, slicing, and marinating
  • keep kitchen areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout service
  • practice safe food handling and maintain a sanitary workspace
