This job opening is for the Warehouse Team at US Foods, which plays a critical role in sustaining the company’s supply chain operations. The role primarily focuses on selecting customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that products are handled with care and meet the company’s high standards. Employees in this position work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing order selecting software and equipment such as electric pallet jacks to safely move products. The job requires working in multi-temperature environments, ranging from coolers and freezers to ambient temperature zones, demanding physical endurance and strength. Shifts are scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, typically starting between 5 pm and 7 pm, with work durations averaging 10 to 12 hours. The position will relocate to Aurora by mid-2026.

Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with relevant experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Selectors start at $18 per hour, with the potential to advance up to $32.56 per hour plus incentives once achieving high accuracy levels above 97% in dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs repetitively
  • Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees
  • Able to move 1000+ cases of product during each shift
  • Ability to work weekday night shifts Sunday through Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to relocate to Aurora by mid-2026

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
  • Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday
  • Recent experience in high endurance or physically demanding roles preferred
  • Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
  • Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred

Job Duties

  • Safely and accurately select customer orders
  • Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack
  • Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
  • Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
  • Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders
  • Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area
