Job Description

Labatt Food Service is a leading foodservice distributor headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. The company is committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to meet the needs of its diverse client base, which includes restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and other businesses within the foodservice industry.

The Night Order Selector position at Labatt Food Service serves as an entry-level opportunity in the warehouse division, ideal for individuals seeking to begin or build a career in warehouse operations or logistics. This role is integral to the company's operations as it involves the safe and precise selection of products from the frozen section of the warehouse, operating in temperatures between 0 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Utilizing advanced voice technology and electric tuggers, the selector is responsible for accurately fulfilling orders while maintaining efficiency and quality standards. This job requires maintaining a fast-paced workflow without compromising on safety and accuracy, making it a crucial role in ensuring that timely deliveries can be made to customers with the right products.

The Night Order Selector position is designed for entry-level candidates, with no prior experience required, as comprehensive training and support will be provided by Labatt Food Service. Candidates who have experience in warehouse work, manufacturing, construction, general labor, or similar roles working with their hands will find this position particularly suited to their skill set. The role operates on a shift schedule from Sunday afternoons through Thursday nights, offering stable, full-time employment with opportunities for advancement into leadership roles from within the company.

In addition to competitive pay based on an incentive structure with no caps, Labatt Food Service offers attractive benefits including weekly pay, a referral bonus program, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, paid holidays, sick days, vacation, and employee recognition events. The company emphasizes a supportive workplace culture, stability, and long-term career growth for its employees. This position is ideal for individuals eager to join a reputable, growing company where they can learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment in the foodservice distribution industry.
