As the Manager on Duty during these periods, the Night Manager holds responsibility for overseeing all hotel departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and more, guaranteeing that each area functions efficiently and collaboratively. This position demands a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership capabilities, and the ability to promptly address issues that arise when daytime management teams are not present.

This salaried, full-time role demands availability for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel management or a supervisory capacity
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods
  • Capability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations

  • Hire, train, schedule, and coach evening and overnight staff
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints using problem-solving techniques
  • Monitor and operate PMS, MICROS, and security systems ensuring accuracy

  • Administer first aid and direct evacuations in emergencies
  • Optimize occupancy and room availability to meet revenue goals
