Job Description

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is recognized as the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the United States. Known for its robust operations and dedication to quality service, Labatt Food Service plays a vital role in the food-away-from-home supply chain across Texas and New Mexico. The company operates five strategically located distribution centers that collectively manage a vast inventory of 14,000 different items, catering to a diverse array of customers. This includes restaurants, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other businesses that require timely and efficient foodservice distribution. Labatt Food Service prides itself on maintaining a high-intensity, fast-paced logistical environment where accuracy, speed, and teamwork are pivotal to success.

The Night Loader position at Labatt Food Service is integral to ensuring that customer orders are correctly prepared and dispatched during nighttime hours. This role involves hand-stacking and loading trailers with products that need to be transported to various clients. The Night Loader works closely with warehouse teams to organize inventory efficiently and prepare shipments that meet company standards for quality and delivery timelines. Given the critical nature of the supply chain, this position demands individuals who can perform physically demanding tasks with attention to detail and a commitment to safety. The schedule for the role is designed to cover late afternoon to night shifts, starting Sunday at 3:30 pm through finish and Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to finish. This schedule supports the company's operational needs and ensures that the distribution centers can maintain seamless operations.

This role offers incentives-based compensation paid per case loaded, with top performers earning up to $75,000 annually, underscoring the company's dedication to rewarding hardworking employees. New hires benefit from a $2,000 limited-time sign-on bonus, distributed after successful completion of the 90-day and 180-day employment milestones. Additional bonuses are offered for quality work, safety, and attendance, reinforcing Labatt Food Service's culture of excellence and accountability.

Beyond competitive pay, the company provides comprehensive and affordable benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, paid holidays, sick days, and vacation time. This package supports employee well-being and long-term security. Furthermore, Labatt Food Service fosters professional growth through advancement opportunities, filling leadership roles from within the organization. Team members experience job stability in a company that has never conducted layoffs, underscoring a commitment to long-term, full-time employment. The work environment is enhanced by community-building activities such as holiday dinners and yearly family events, cultivating a sense of belonging among employees. Overall, the Night Loader role offers a substantial opportunity for individuals seeking stable and rewarding work within a highly respected foodservice distribution company.
