Night Janitor - Anchorage

Denali Universal Services is currently seeking a dedicated Janitor to work the night shift from 3 pm to 11:30 pm at the Anchorage ConocoPhillips Tower. This full-time role involves supporting daily operations by executing regular janitorial duties that are crucial to maintaining a clean and sanitary office space. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, and takes place in a professional office setting where interaction with a variety of personnel is common.

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning hallways, stairways, offices, break areas, equipment, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces. This role requires a meticulous approach to tasks such as dusting low and high areas, wiping down and cleaning surfaces, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping floors, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming various flooring types. Additionally, the Janitor will be tasked with removing, transporting, and compacting trash to appropriate disposal locations. Minor facility maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and performing light repairs are also part of the job.

Safety is a key priority for DUS, and the Janitor must follow all DUS safety precautions and wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during tasks. The role demands the ability to maintain constant alertness and adhere strictly to safety and work procedure standards. Physical stamina is required to remain on feet for prolonged shifts and to perform repetitive physical activities such as walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
