This full-time night shift position as an Environmental Services (EVS) and Housekeeper at Del Amo Behavioral Health System involves multifaceted support roles essential to the safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the facility. The role spans across critical service areas including transportation, environmental services, security, and overall maintenance operations. The EVS/Housekeeper play a key part in maintaining sanitary and orderly conditions within the facility and its grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
Key responsibilities include cleaning and servicing all areas within the facility, safeguarding the premises by conducting regular patrols to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism, and responding promptly to security needs. This position also involves securing and unlocking buildings and grounds, protecting life and property, and assisting during visitor hours by monitoring for contraband at the front lobby reception. The role demands an individual who is vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid California driver's license class C
- completion of security training program or equivalent preferred
- must be able to demonstrate special training, knowledge and skills specific to job within three months of hire
- must complete all required mandatory inservices annually
- must be tested for tuberculosis upon hire and annually thereafter
- must be certified in handle with care training within three months of hire and annually if assigned to security or transportation duties
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- completion of security training program or equivalent preferred
- valid California driver's license class C required
- experience working in behavioral health preferred
- previous experience in environmental services hospital or hotel industry preferred
- two years in a hospital environment preferred
- ability to demonstrate special training, knowledge and skills specific to job
- completion of mandatory inservices annually
- tuberculosis testing upon hire and annually thereafter
- certified in handle with care training within three months of hire and annually if assigned to security or transportation duties
