The role of the Stockers and Hi-Lo Drivers Supervisor is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing second and third shift operations. This individual manages a team of stockers and forklift (Hi-Lo) drivers, ensuring that all duties are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies. The Supervisor plays a pivotal role in training employees, overseeing product stocking, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include supervising and evaluating team members, managing work schedules, assisting customers with locating products and providing detailed information, and ensuring the timely unloading and stocking of shipments. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy.

This position demands a background in various operational areas including profit and loss (P&L) management, inventory control, merchandising, hiring and training personnel, front-end operations, cash control, payroll administration, security measures, and loss prevention strategies. The Supervisor must enforce sales and security policies and promptly resolve customer complaints to uphold the company's commitment to excellence. The working environment is primarily room temperature, with occasional variations due to proximity to exit doors and receiving docks, influenced by seasonal changes and the store’s activity level.
