The Night Donut Mixing Production Associate role based in Mishawaka, Indiana is a critical position within the Central Bakery team. Reporting directly to the Night Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager, this role requires hands-on operation of bakery machinery and active participation in the donut production process. Responsibilities include mixing cake and yeast donut mixes, sheeting dough, cutting, proofing, and maintaining strict quality control standards. Candidates must follow safe and sanitary food handling policies to ensure product safety and prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses. This position demands accuracy in reading mix formulas, using digital and balance scales, and adherence to production guides to check raw donut weight and size. The role requires employees to be independent workers who can also collaborate effectively with their team.
The position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with a flexible night schedule from 4 PM to 12:30 AM that includes holidays and weekends as required. Although no prior experience is needed, the job demands physical endurance, including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and dough, requiring strong shoulders and back strength. The workplace environment involves exposure to indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher, loud machinery noise, and the use of cleaning chemicals. The role also typically involves extended periods of standing and walking, frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and excellent hand-eye coordination for repetitive motions like scraping and wiping production lines and tables.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent

- ability to work night shift from 4pm to 12:30am with flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends
- physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently
