The role of a Commercial Cleaner at Pegasus involves maintaining office buildings or other commercial properties to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness in accordance with assigned scopes of work. This position operates on a weekend schedule, specifically from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, and offers a competitive rate of $21.00 per hour. Key responsibilities include cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, and other common areas while ensuring trash is regularly emptied and replaced. The role also involves detailed tasks such as dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines where applicable. The cleaner is also responsible for maintaining janitorial equipment and closets in a safe and operable condition, polishing furniture, windows, doors, and fixtures, as well as restocking supplies in bathrooms and break rooms. Additionally, the employee will undertake end-of-shift inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety standards, perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, and contribute to overhead vent cleaning and dusting blinds.

This position values proficiency in English to enhance teamwork and communication, promoting a smooth operational flow. While janitorial experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred, they are not mandatory, allowing for candidates with varying backgrounds to apply. Candidates must be physically able to perform various activities such as walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 35 lbs, and carrying equipment like backpack vacuums.
