Leila Bakery and Cafe is a rapidly expanding artisanal bakery that specializes in crafting high-quality quiche, kolache, and a diverse range of scratch-made pastries. The bakery is currently seeking a skilled and dependable overnight baker to join their team at the Lakewood location. This full-time role involves working the overnight shift, typically from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with alternative shifts available such as 12:00 am to 8:00 am, five days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong dedication to the craft of baking, including a refined attention to detail and persistence, as well as enthusiasm for teamwork. The overnight baker is responsible for preparing a broad variety of baked goods, including fresh breads, scratch-made cakes, pies, custards, laminated pastries, kolache, and more. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the bakery opens each day fully stocked with fresh, high-quality items ready for customers.

In addition to baking duties, the baker will help maintain a clean and organized work environment that complies with food safety standards, manage inventory and ingredient levels adequate for overnight production, and operate baking equipment safely. The overnight baker will also assist with packaging and preparing products to meet the day’s commitments. Collaboration with other team members ensures bakery operations run efficiently and smoothly. Leila Bakery offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.00 per hour, with pay based on experience.
