The role of a Night Auditor at Level5 Hospitality is pivotal to maintaining the smooth and accurate operation of hotel functions during night hours. This position involves auditing, balancing, and reporting on various hotel departments to ensure everything aligns with both internal policies and industry standards. The Night Auditor is not only responsible for financial accuracy by properly closing PMS and Point of Sale systems but also plays a critical role in guest relations, handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, managing reservations, and addressing complaints professionally.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • basic accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • must possess basic computational ability
  • must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
  • must be able to access and navigate the facility
  • employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
  • work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • work experience as a Front Desk agent preferred
  • Level5 High Touch service
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • flexibility with shifts and scheduling
  • must be available weekends and/or holidays
  • must have transportation to and from work
  • must have stellar attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Perform all check in and check out tasks
  • complete the night audit checklist each shift
  • properly close all PMS and Point of Sale systems daily, generate and maintain appropriate audit reports and reset all systems to the following day
  • inform the General Manager or Front Office Manager of any problems that need immediate attention and/or action to all proper follow up
  • operate the front desk according to standard operating procedures and with exceptional guest service
  • fulfill all Front Office functions during night shift
  • know emergency procedures and how to respond
