Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or finance role preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently overnight
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Job Duties

  • Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts
  • Run night audit backups and roll the date
  • Process all payment types including cash, checks, debit, and credit
  • Manage adjustment vouchers, correction vouchers, and paid-outs
  • Print contingency guest lists for emergencies
  • Sell and assign rooms to guests without reservations
  • Operate telephone switchboard and process wake-up call requests
  • Process guest check-ins and activate or reissue room keys
  • Count, balance, and secure bank at end of shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
