Job Description

PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company that operates a portfolio of select-service properties across multiple states under the Marriott and Hilton brands. Known for its dedication to developing a culture that places associates first, PAH Management strives to become America's preferred hotel management company. The company focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high operational standards and providing a supportive work environment for its employees. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in their policies as an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

The Night Auditor role at PAH Management is a pivotal overnight position combining financial reconciliation, guest services, and operational oversight. This role integrates responsibilities of both front desk operations and precise financial auditing to ensure the smooth closing of the business day within the hotel's property management system. The Night Auditor acts as the hotel’s heartbeat overnight, the first and last point of contact for guests during the hours when other staff are unavailable. Accuracy, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills are essential to succeeding in this role. The Night Auditor balances daily revenue transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, while preparing and distributing detailed operational reports for management review. Prompt resolution of billing discrepancies with thorough documentation is crucial, along with maintaining compliance with brand standards and hotel policies.

Beyond financial duties, the Night Auditor is responsible for managing front desk activities such as handling check-ins, check-outs, and reservations with professionalism and warmth during overnight shifts. Guest inquiries and concerns receive timely, thoughtful responses focused on problem-solving to enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, the Night Auditor conducts regular security walks, monitors property entrances and public areas for safety, and follows emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for all guests and associates. This role requires working independently overnight, contributing to operational continuity and upholding the hotel’s reputation for hospitality and service excellence. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this position demands an individual who can remain calm under pressure, reliably manage multiple duties, and embody the brand’s commitment to outstanding guest care.
