We are currently seeking a Guest Services Associate to join our team at Margaritaville Resort and Casino, a property under the PENN Entertainment umbrella. This role is essential to delivering exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Guest Services Associate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining communication with various departments such as Housekeeping and Supervisors to guarantee that guests' needs are met promptly and professionally. This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience by addressing concerns courteously and professionally, providing information about hotel and casino events, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

The Guest Services Associate should have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience. Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills considered an advantage. Candidates need to demonstrate good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, and must be able to obtain necessary work authorizations compliant with local, state, federal, and gaming regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role

  • Ability to obtain appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations
  • Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Runs nightly reports to reset the system for next day operations
  • Checks in and checks out guests while providing the highest level of customer service
  • Maintains a courteous and professional manner at all times
  • Maintains an operating bank including receiving cash, credit cards, and comps in payment with proper authorization
  • Responsible for posting charges, settling folios, groups, and due outs while maintaining communication with Supervisors and Housekeeping
  • Handles guest problems or complaints in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintains knowledge of hotel, casino, outlet, and community events
  • Answers, records, and processes all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns
  • Assumes ownership of positively influencing the guest experience
  • Contacts appropriate individuals or departments to resolve customer requests
  • Reviews shift logs and memos and documents pertinent information
  • Recruits assistance of hotel manager in unique situations
  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to Margaritaville Resort and Casino standards including non-hotel guests
  • Follows all company policies and procedures
  • Maintains a professional and clean appearance
  • Communicates professionally in speech and writing
  • Maintains and develops positive working relationships with team members, management, and executive staff
  • Assists additional hotel departments as needed
