Job Description
This position is offered by a reputable hotel known for its strong emphasis on delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is committed to providing genuine hospitality and outstanding service that goes beyond the usual expectations. It operates with core values grounded in Associate Engagement, presentation excellence, guest loyalty, financial success, and a robust community and global presence. The organization is recognized for its growth opportunities and dedication to both its employees and guests, ensuring a vibrant and supportive workplace culture in a hospitality-driven environment. Employment with this hotel comes with competitive pay and benefits, geared towards enhancing the professional and personal lives of its team members.
The Night Auditor role is crucial to the hotel’s operations, serving as the frontline representative during night shifts and responsible for ensuring guests receive a warm, efficient, and courteous welcome. This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong guest service orientation, and the ability to balance administrative duties such as auditing the day’s financial activities with interpersonal guest service responsibilities. The Night Auditor acts as a key point of contact for guests, handling check-ins and checkouts, managing guest requests and inquiries with professionalism, and supporting other hotel functions as needed to facilitate smooth nightly operations. The role demands a working knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and technologies, as well as the capacity to work independently and make sound decisions in the absence of daytime management.
In addition to guest interaction, the Night Auditor is responsible for completing the daily audit process—including verifying account transactions, closing out the day’s sales, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with company standards. The role also involves liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments to address guest needs promptly and efficiently. Maintaining a positive work environment, fostering team cooperation, and ensuring communication flows effectively across shifts are essential aspects of the position.
This full-time role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, reflecting the continuous nature of hotel operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, attentive to detail, capable of managing multiple responsibilities, and physically able to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting. The Night Auditor position not only promises a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, but also invites candidates looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive hospitality company committed to career development and community engagement.
