This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent guest interaction skills are paramount. The position offers a competitive compensation rate of $19.00 per hour and involves balancing revenue and settling accounts nightly, maintaining accurate records, and resetting the system for the subsequent day's operations. As part of the duties, the candidate will perform Guest Service Agent responsibilities, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process while troubleshooting guest inquiries and concerns to achieve high satisfaction scores.
The position supports a clear career progression path including opportunities to advance to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and eventually Front Office Manager. Core daily tasks revolve around the completion of bookkeeping activities such as nightly audits, credit card reconciliation, and financial data input into the BRAINS network system. The role also involves preparing detailed daily financial reports to assist management with operational oversight.
The job requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other physical activities, with a flexible schedule that may include holidays and weekends. Safety is emphasized through adherence to protective equipment use and safe work practices.
HHM Hotels values individuals who are proactive, possess excellent arithmetic and computer skills especially with Excel, and have previous night audit or accounting experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and Food Service Director certification (FSD) must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already certified.

Job Duties
- Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts manually or using computers
- Prepare and distribute daily reports
- Audit and reconcile cashiers
- Audit reconcile consolidate and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis
- Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network
- Check guests in and out and perform Guest Service Agent tasks
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
