With a rich history of excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry, Marriott International values diversity, inclusion, and growth opportunities for its associates. Aloft Hotels, a distinctive brand under the Marriott International umbrella, prides itself on offering a vibrant, modern atmosphere that caters to the connectivity and lifestyle needs of today’s travelers. The Aloft brand is known for its sleek design, lively social spaces, and forward-thinking approach to hospitality, making it a popular choice for guests seeking both comfort and a unique experience.

Located at 191 Dorrance St, Providence, Rhode Island, Aloft Hotels is seeking a dedicated Finance and Accounting team member to join its full-time staff. The position involves handling and auditing financial records, controlling cash management processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to security and confidentiality, reflecting the high standards upheld by Marriott International and Aloft Hotels.

As a Finance and Accounting team member on the overnight shift, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, balancing accounts, and supporting the hotel’s operational goals through precise financial oversight. Your responsibilities will include verifying financial documents, recording data within computerized systems, and preparing statistical and payroll reports essential for internal auditing and external compliance. You will also be responsible for organizing and safeguarding sensitive documents in line with document retention policies, ensuring the protection of both hotel assets and guest information.

Working at Aloft Hotels means joining a brand that values individuality and creativity. We seek confident individuals who are eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment where team collaboration and guest satisfaction are paramount. This role is perfect for candidates who possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to financial management in a hospitality setting. Moreover, Aloft Hotels and Marriott International foster an inclusive work culture where diversity is celebrated, and all employees are empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.

In this position, you will also be an ambassador of the brand's commitment to exceptional service standards, welcoming guests warmly and assisting colleagues to create a positive and productive workplace. The role emphasizes safety and professionalism, requiring adherence to company policies, including appearance standards and confidential handling of proprietary information. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally within a global hospitality leader and be part of a culture that supports your personal and career development.
