Known for fostering a positive work culture, HHM Hotels not only focuses on guest satisfaction but also prioritizes the growth and development of its employees. The company offers comprehensive benefits that support the well-being and career advancement of its workforce, positioning itself as an employer of choice in the hospitality sector.

The role of Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent at HHM Hotels is a multifaceted position vital to the seamless operation of the front office during overnight hours. This position balances financial accountability with guest service, requiring attention to detail and a customer-first approach. Night Auditors are responsible for balancing revenue and settling accounts nightly to ensure the accuracy of financial data. The role involves maintaining meticulous files and resetting the system to prepare for a new day of operations, thus ensuring smooth transitions and operational integrity.

Additionally, this role incorporates key guest service responsibilities, such as checking guests in or out and responding promptly to inquiries and complaints to enhance guest satisfaction. The Night Auditor is tasked with performing bookkeeping activities including conducting nightly audits and reconciling cashiers’ accounts, as well as auditing and transmitting credit card transactions on time. Detailed financial information must be input and updated accurately in the BRAINS network system, underscoring the importance of computer proficiency and numeracy skills.

Employees in this position contribute directly to HHM Hotels' core values—People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It—by delivering high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Safety is also a priority, as team members are expected to practice safe work habits and use protective safety equipment as needed.

This role offers a clear advancement path, including progression to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and eventually Front Office Manager roles, illustrating HHM Hotels' commitment to internal career development. Onboarding and ongoing professional development are supported, with requirements such as obtaining the Food Service Director (FSD) certification within 90 days of employment if applicable.

Work conditions for this position reflect the demands of the hospitality industry, including variable schedules with potential holiday and weekend shifts, standing for extended periods, walking, and occasional lifting. The supportive work environment and comprehensive benefits package enable employees to thrive both professionally and personally while delivering exceptional service to guests. HHM Hotels thus offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals seeking to build a career in hospitality within a company dedicated to excellence and employee growth.
