Job Description

HHM Hotels is a reputable hotel management company known for delivering excellent guest services and operational efficiency across its portfolio of properties. They specialize in hospitality management, focusing on creating memorable experiences for all guests while maintaining smooth internal operations. HHM Hotels emphasizes a strong commitment to staff professionalism and guest satisfaction, fostering an environment conducive to employee growth and career advancement within the hospitality industry. Their approach combines traditional hospitality values with modern technology to ensure high standards of service excellence in all aspects of hotel operations.

The Night Auditor position at HHM Hotels plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity and guest satisfaction of the hotel during overnight shifts. This key position requires a blend of accounting, guest service, and administrative skills to balance revenue, settle accounts nightly, and prepare the hotel for subsequent days of operation. Beyond the core auditing responsibilities, Night Auditors also assist with front desk duties, guest inquiries, and complaint resolutions to ensure an exceptional guest experience even during late-night hours. Employees in this role enjoy a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $17.50, reflecting the importance of their contribution to the hotel’s fiscal accuracy and guest relations.

In this role, you will be tasked with performing bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits. You will maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts through both manual methods and computerized systems. Preparing and distributing daily reports is also a crucial part of your duties, ensuring that all relevant departments have timely financial data. Additional responsibilities include auditing and reconciling cashiers, managing credit card transactions with precision, and updating financial information within the hotel’s BRAINS network system.

As a Night Auditor at HHM Hotels, you also function as a Guest Service Agent, checking guests in and out and responding promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints. You will take an active role in monitoring guest satisfaction scores, striving to enhance both departmental and overall guest satisfaction consistently. The role demands a commitment to safe working habits, including the use of protective safety equipment, and a readiness to perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.

This position offers an excellent growth path with opportunities to advance to roles such as Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and eventually Front Office Manager. HHM Hotels supports its employees’ professional development and encourages internal promotion, fostering a supportive work culture where dedication and efficiency are rewarded.

By joining HHM Hotels as a Night Auditor, you become a vital member of a forward-thinking hospitality company that values people as its core capability, operates with hearts that serve, pursues only excellence, stays nimble, and encourages employees to own their roles. This is a rewarding opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic hotel environment and are eager to grow their careers in hospitality management.
