Job Description
AC Hotel Denver RiNo is a vibrant and contemporary hotel located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. This hotel is owned and operated by Lotus Hotels, an independent franchisee dedicated to providing quality accommodations and exceptional guest experiences. As part of the growing Marriott portfolio, the AC Hotel brand combines European-inspired design with modern amenities tailored to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. The location offers convenient access to Denver's cultural hotspots, dining, and entertainment options, making it an attractive destination for visitors to the city.
The hotel emphasizes a clean, welcoming environment and outstanding customer service, aiming to deliver memorable stays that align with modern travelers' expectations. As a franchisee-operated property, employment policies including hiring, benefits, and compensation are directly controlled by Lotus Hotels, separate from Marriott International. This provides a unique workplace culture that values professionalism, integrity, and team collaboration while striving to uphold Marriott’s high service standards.
The Night Auditor role at AC Hotel Denver RiNo is a full-time non-management position integral to the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. The position requires a meticulous and dependable individual responsible for performing the hotel's night audit functions, which include verifying the accuracy of financial records and managing front desk operations during the night shift. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring that the property’s financial transactions are precise, reconciling daily accounts, and preparing reports for management review. This includes posting charges accurately to guest folios, reviewing check-outs to maintain zero balances, and verifying credit card approvals.
Beyond the financial responsibilities, this role enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional customer service during overnight hours, handling guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner. The Night Auditor also collaborates with morning staff by reviewing the overall hotel status and communicating essential information to ensure continuity and operational efficiency. Given the overnight nature of this job, the candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining an organized and clean front desk area.
This position offers competitive wages starting at $21.50 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off. Additionally, employees benefit from Marriott travel perks and discounts, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to develop and grow their hospitality career. The role requires at least 1 to 2 years of experience in front desk or night audit positions within hotel environments, along with a high level of proficiency in hotel management software and financial reporting.
Overall, the Night Auditor position at AC Hotel Denver RiNo provides a rewarding chance for hospitality professionals eager to work at a dynamic new property and become part of a dedicated team committed to operational excellence and outstanding guest service.
