Job Description
HHM Hotels is a reputable and dynamic hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and operational excellence. Renowned for its emphasis on quality and guest satisfaction, HHM Hotels operates with a mission to create memorable stays by combining warm hospitality with efficient and innovative management practices. As an organization, it fosters a values-driven culture defined by the principles of People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These guiding beliefs shape the way employees engage with guests and colleagues, driving a customer-centric service model that prioritizes responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
This opportunity is to join HHM Hotels as a Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent, a vital role that balances financial accountability with exemplary guest service. The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 to $22.00, reflecting the importance of precision and customer interaction in this hybrid capacity. The Night Auditor's responsibilities include balancing revenue and settling accounts at the close of each business day, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring the front office system is reset and primed for the upcoming day's operations. This dual-role also involves performing front-line Guest Service Agent tasks such as checking guests in and out, responding swiftly and courteously to inquiries, and resolving complaints with the goal of enhancing guest satisfaction and departmental performance.
Employees in this role are given clear career growth pathways, including advancement to Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and ultimately Front Office Manager positions. This career trajectory underscores HHM Hotels' investment in professional development, encouraging team members to build expertise both in bookkeeping and guest services. Key duties include conducting nightly audits to ensure financial accuracy, preparing and distributing daily operational reports, reconciling cashiers, and keeping up-to-date records of room availability and guest accounts. The position requires proficiency in bookkeeping tasks, accounting systems, and the ability to handle arithmetic accurately, with some preference for candidates experienced with OPERA property management software.
The work environment involves scheduled night shifts that may include holidays and weekends. It demands physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, and reach as necessary. HHM Hotels promotes safe work habits, including the use of protective safety equipment to ensure the well-being of its employees. By joining HHM Hotels as a Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent, candidates become part of a company that values excellence, encourages nimbleness in problem-solving, and fosters a collaborative atmosphere where everyone owns their contribution to the guest experience and operational success.
