The role of Front Desk Agent at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is a vital position within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations team. This part-time, non-management role offers a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour and requires open availability with a preference for evening shifts. The Front Desk Agent acts as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service that reflects the brand's commitment to Wonderful Hospitality. Duties include running daily reports on arrivals and departures, managing cashier and closing reports, and maintaining accurate financial handling by balancing bank receipts in accordance with accounting specifications.

Job Duties
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys
- process all payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
- process all guest check-outs including resolving late or disputed charges
- answer, record, and handle all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns
- coordinate with Housekeeping to monitor room readiness for guest check-in
- communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed
- provide guests with directions and information about the property and local points of interest
- run daily reports on arrivals and departures, identify special requests, check reports for accuracy
- complete cashier and closing reports accurately
- count bank at start and end of shifts
- balance and drop receipts as per accounting policies
- follow company safety and security policies
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
