Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys
  • process all payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
  • process all guest check-outs including resolving late or disputed charges
  • answer, record, and handle all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns
  • coordinate with Housekeeping to monitor room readiness for guest check-in
  • communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed
  • provide guests with directions and information about the property and local points of interest
  • run daily reports on arrivals and departures, identify special requests, check reports for accuracy
  • complete cashier and closing reports accurately
  • count bank at start and end of shifts
  • balance and drop receipts as per accounting policies
  • follow company safety and security policies
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests warmly and anticipate service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • use clear and professional communication
  • develop positive working relationships with coworkers
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
