By choosing Courtyard by Marriott, guests receive access to state-of-the-art amenities, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service, all designed to facilitate a productive and enjoyable stay.

The hotel’s team exemplifies professionalism and dedication to superior hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and well cared for. As part of Marriott International’s extensive family of brands, the Courtyard offers employees opportunities for career growth within a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. The company is an equal opportunity employer, fostering an environment that celebrates diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences, while adhering to strict non-discrimination policies.

The role available is a full-time Non-Management Overnight Night Auditor position at Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Haywood Mall. This role is a critical link between the hotel’s front office, accounting, and guest services, responsible for end-of-day auditing processes and ensuring smooth operational transitions between days. Working predominantly overnight, the Night Auditor performs essential financial and operational tasks that support both the guest experience and the hotel's internal controls.

Night Auditors at Courtyard by Marriott are responsible for posting guest charges accurately, processing various payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit cards, and handling adjustments, corrections, and miscellaneous charges. A key component of the job involves running the night audit backup system and rolling the date to prepare the system for the next day, thereby ensuring data integrity and financial accuracy.

Beyond financial duties, the Night Auditor plays a vital role in guest service by checking in guests, assigning rooms, selling accommodations to guests without prior reservations, and managing room key issuance through an electronic key machine. The incumbent also operates the hotel’s telephone switchboard, handles wake-up call requests, and communicates guest messages professionally and promptly.

Commitment to safety and policy compliance is paramount. The Night Auditor monitors and reports any accidents or unsafe conditions, follows Marriott's stringent policies, maintains uniform and professional appearance, and protects company assets vigilantly. This role demands excellent communication skills, as the individual must welcome guests warmly, anticipate and respond to their needs, assist individuals with disabilities compassionately, and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve shared goals.

Physically, the position requires the ability to perform tasks such as moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds, reaching overhead and below the knees, and standing or walking for extended periods, essential for maintaining a tidy, functional work environment. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a passionate team committed to providing an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

By joining Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Haywood Mall, candidates embrace the chance to develop professionally within a globally respected brand known for valuing its associates.
