Job Description

This hotel is a part of an independent franchise operated by Hotel Management Pros. Unlike hotels directly managed by Marriott International, this hotel is run by a franchisee, which is a separate business entity with its own operational policies and employment practices. The franchisee controls all aspects of hotel employment, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and overall working conditions. This setup ensures that employees hired at this hotel are employed by the franchisee and not Marriott International. This distinction is important for understanding the management structure and employment policies that are in place at this location.

The hotel seeks dedicated and professional individuals to join their team in a versatile role that encompasses guest service responsibilities alongside administrative and operational tasks. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling cash transactions, credit card payments, and guest account management. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of guest records, demonstrating high ethical standards in all financial dealings and document management.

The position involves verifying room charges and rates to prevent discrepancies and ensure guest satisfaction. The candidate will also be required to manage daily paperwork including occupancy reports, guest lists, cash drawer summaries, balance sheets, account summaries, history files, and housekeeping reports. These tasks not only call for excellent organizational skills but also require the employee to submit accurate reports to the corporate office as applicable.

In addition to these financial and administrative duties, the role also includes hands-on responsibilities such as performing the duties of a Guest Service Agent. Job Duties
