Job Description

HHM Hotels is a reputable hospitality management company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and outstanding service quality across its portfolio of hotels. With a strong commitment to excellence, HHM Hotels fosters a dynamic and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and grow their careers. By blending traditional values with modern hospitality standards, HHM Hotels continuously enhances its operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction scores to uphold its status as a preferred hotel management company in the industry.

The Night Auditor role at HHM Hotels is a vital position that blends accounting responsibilities with frontline guest service duties to ensure smooth overnight operations. The Night Auditor plays a critical part in maintaining the financial accuracy of daily hotel transactions by balancing revenue and settling accounts each night. This position also resets the system to prepare for the upcoming day’s business while performing tasks typically assigned to Guest Service Agents, ensuring that guests receive attentive service even during night shifts. The successful Night Auditor is expected to prepare detailed daily reports, audit cashier activity, and reconcile credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.

This full-time position offers competitive wages and provides a clear growth path, including the potential to advance to Front Office Supervisor or Front Office Manager roles. The work schedule may include holidays and weekends, requiring a flexible, dependable individual. The role demands physical stamina since it includes standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Applicants should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include bookkeeping activities such as balancing nightly accounts, maintaining accurate records of room availability, auditing cashiers, and handling financial data within the hotel’s BRAINS network system. Additionally, the Night Auditor will manage guest check-in and check-out functions and promptly address guest inquiries and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction. Safety protocols and appropriate use of protective equipment are also critical aspects of this role to ensure a safe working environment.

HHM Hotels seeks candidates who bring previous night audit or accounting experience, proficiency in computer systems with strong Excel and arithmetic skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A Food Service Director (FSD) certification is a plus and required within 90 days of employment. This position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k company match, along with employee wellness programs, travel discounts, and opportunities for educational and professional development.

Overall, working as a Night Auditor with HHM Hotels offers more than a job; it provides a path to career advancement within a company that values its people, fosters professional growth, and believes in delivering excellence with a heartfelt commitment. Candidates who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and take pride in their work will find this an exciting opportunity within a leading hospitality management organization.
