Known for fostering a supportive work culture that values its employees, the company emphasizes career growth opportunities, professional development, and a commitment to service excellence. HHM Hotels focuses not only on guest satisfaction but also on the growth and well-being of its team members, making it an attractive employer in the hotel industry.

The Night Auditor position is a critical frontline role within the hotel’s operational team. This role involves balancing revenue and settling accounts on a nightly basis to ensure accurate financial records and seamless transition from one business day to the next. The Night Auditor is responsible for maintaining guest account files, preparing and distributing daily reports, auditing and reconciling cashiers, and managing credit card transactions with timeliness and precision. Beyond financial responsibilities, the Night Auditor also performs Guest Service Agent duties which include welcoming guests, checking them in and out, responding to inquiries, and resolving any complaints to enhance guest satisfaction.

This position offers a dynamic and multifaceted work environment, ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong accounting skills, and have excellent customer service abilities. The Night Auditor plays an essential role in ensuring the accuracy of daily financial activities while simultaneously facilitating positive guest experiences during the overnight shift. Employment with HHM Hotels as a Night Auditor provides the opportunity to grow within the company, with potential career progression paths including Front Office Supervisor, Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk, and eventually Front Office Manager.

The role requires proficiency with computer systems, especially financial software and Excel, alongside a solid understanding of arithmetic necessary to perform auditing tasks effectively. The Night Auditor is also expected to maintain a safe working environment by practicing safe work habits and using appropriate protective equipment.

HHM Hotels offers competitive wages for both full-time and part-time opportunities, making this an appealing job for individuals seeking flexible employment options in the hospitality sector. The company supports its employees with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision health insurance plans, paid time off, and a 401k company match program. Additional employee benefits include daily pay, free basic life insurance, access to 24/7 confidential health and wellness resources, travel discounts, commuter benefits, and a referral bonus program. This robust benefits package underscores HHM Hotels’ commitment to employee welfare and satisfaction.

Working as a Night Auditor at HHM Hotels involves a schedule that may include holidays and weekends and requires physical activities such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching. This role demands a proactive, service-driven individual who embodies the company’s values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.
