Job Description

The Retreat on Charleston Peak is a unique and enchanting hospitality establishment located at an elevation of 6,700 feet in Kyle Canyon. This rustic lodge offers guests a peaceful, natural escape from the hectic pace of urban life, situated just 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Surrounded by the majestic Spring Mountains National Forest, The Retreat combines the beauty of nature with the comfort of well-appointed accommodations and exceptional amenities. Guests at The Retreat can indulge in delicious meals at the on-site Canyon Restaurant, relax with a drink while enjoying stunning mountain views, play billiards or enjoy TV and other games in the cozy bar room, or explore a plethora of nearby hiking trails. Additionally, with three versatile event spaces, the lodge serves as a sought-after destination for weddings, celebrations, and special gatherings, providing a memorable backdrop to any occasion. This resort is committed to upholding a set of core values including integrity, concern for others, collaboration, accountability, and possessing a genuine hospitality soul that fosters fun and creates lifelong memories.

As a Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor at The Retreat on Charleston Peak, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience during the overnight hours. Your responsibilities will also include welcoming guests during late hours, processing reservations and check-ins, addressing guest inquiries, delegating housekeeping and security tasks, and resolving any complaints that may arise. Your ability to communicate clearly and deliver exemplary customer service will ensure guests feel well cared for throughout their stay. Although prior hotel experience is not mandatory, enthusiasm for hospitality and a drive to build a career in this field are fundamental. The role offers a supportive environment focused on growth and development, making it an ideal starting point for an individual seeking to gain valuable experience in the hotel industry. This is a night shift position, paying $19 hourly, that calls for flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional service when the hotel is less staffed but guest needs remain paramount. By joining the team at The Retreat, you become part of an establishment that values honesty, respect, teamwork, and a joyful approach to hospitality. Your contributions during the overnight shift will be vital to the continued success and reputation of this serene mountain retreat and hospitality destination.
