Job Description

Located on Savannah's vibrant riverfront, The Alida is a distinctive hotel known for combining contemporary Southern charm with warm, timeless hospitality. Named in honor of Alida Harper Fowlkes, a celebrated entrepreneur who helped shape the spirit of Savannah, this 173-room hotel provides a sophisticated yet welcoming environment for both locals and travelers seeking an authentic Southern experience. The Alida emphasizes exceptional service, attention to detail, and a strong connection to the cultural roots of the community, making it an integral part of Savannah's revitalized waterfront hospitality scene.

The Alida is currently seeking dedicated and attentive individuals to join their night audit team. This unique role is fundamental to the hotel's daily operations, as night auditors serve as the essential link between the day’s activities and the day ahead. The ideal candidate will take pride in their vigilance during the late-night hours and play a critical role in ensuring smooth guest services and accurate financial reconciliation. Night auditors at The Alida help set the stage for a successful day by balancing accounts, managing the front desk, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns efficiently and courteously.

This position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. Night auditors will perform daily duties including balancing accounts from the day shift, managing front desk activities such as guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing outstanding customer service. They are responsible for reconciling all accounts and processing invoices with precision to maintain financial accuracy. Additionally, they schedule wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction. Handling requests and complaints professionally and routing them to the appropriate departments is also a key component of the role.

Working with The Alida means joining the Makeready family, which values the well-being and happiness of its team. Eligible team members enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, maternity and paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care and 401k plans, student loan repayment programs, and more. The company fosters an inclusive culture where all team members can thrive as their authentic selves and flourish professionally in a supportive, equal opportunity environment. The guiding principles of Makeready LLC shape the collaborative and respectful workplace culture, inspiring employees to perform with passion and integrity.

As a Night Auditor at The Alida, you will be an essential part of this dynamic hospitality environment. You will work during the night shift with an emphasis on precision, customer satisfaction, and teamwork. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy being the backbone of a hotel’s night operations, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected, growing hotel brand and contribute meaningfully to the guest experience.
