Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or related front office roles is preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts two nights a week
  • Proficient in basic computer operations and point of service systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to follow attendance rules and maintain regular availability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant front office operations preferred
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with point of sale and front office systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills relating to computer or procedural issues

Job Duties

  • Prepare daily restaurant revenue report data by auditing point of service tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier
  • Run audit reports and journals from the front office system, point of service and the computer
  • Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
  • Input into the front office system revenue, expenses, allowances to generate the daily reports such as the guest ledger summary and the daily restaurant summary
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations
  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions
