Job Description

HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof is a leading extended stay hotel management company known for providing quality accommodations across 20 different states. With a clear focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience, HomeTowne Studios prides itself on the high standards and continuous improvements made to its properties and services. Since undergoing renovations in 2018, the company has dedicated itself to enhancing not only the physical environment of the hotels but also the overall guest and employee experience. This upgrade initiative is part of a broader strategy to ensure guests enjoy a superior stay while employees thrive in a supportive and growth-oriented workplace. Recognized as a management company that values its workforce, HomeTowne Studios positions itself as an employer of choice by offering competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

The Night Attendant role at HomeTowne Studios presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service. This position is integral to maintaining the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of guests during nighttime hours. The Night Attendant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including guest assistance, room preparations, and ensuring the cleanliness and security of the hotel. With wages starting between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour, this role offers a competitive salary that reflects the importance of the responsibilities involved.

As a Night Attendant, you will serve as the critical link between guests and hotel management during the often quieter but pivotal night shifts. Duties extend beyond typical reception tasks to include performing courtesy calls shortly after guest check-in, handling guest requests and complaints post-office hours, and managing check-ins and check-outs if necessary. The role requires maintaining the front entrance and lobby areas to create a welcoming and secure environment at all times.

This role demands that the Night Attendant actively contribute to the hotel’s cleanliness and organization, particularly in laundry-related areas, by cleaning, drying, and folding linens and guest laundry. Guests’ privacy and safety hold paramount importance and are to be upheld continuously. Additionally, the Night Attendant may be tasked with performing basic billing functions such as computing bills, collecting payments, and posting charges to the property management system, ensuring smooth financial transactions even after hours.

HomeTowne Studios emphasizes the importance of professionalism and appearance in its team, expecting the Night Attendant to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed presence. This position also involves maintaining detailed records by completing department checklists and reports relevant to shifts worked. It is a role well-suited for individuals who have strong communication skills and excel in customer service, looking to grow their careers in the hospitality industry. The company fosters a supportive work environment with numerous benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401K plan with employer match, and employer-paid life insurance, making this an attractive place to grow professionally and personally.
