The Night Attendant role at HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof is a crucial position that supports the hotel’s commitment to superior guest service during overnight hours. This role offers a competitive starting wage of up to $16.00 - $17.00 per hour and is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer care. As a Night Attendant, you will act as the face of the hotel during night shifts, ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience even after regular business hours. This role involves performing various duties such as conducting courtesy calls to guests shortly after check-in to ensure their satisfaction, assisting guests with requests or complaints, and contributing to the safety and cleanliness of the hotel environment.

Key responsibilities include handling check-ins and check-outs during the night, managing guestroom keys, maintaining laundry areas by cleaning and organizing linens, providing patrol and presence in the lobby and front entrance to maintain security, and facilitating financial transactions like collecting payments and posting charges accurately to the property management system. You will be expected to maintain a professional appearance, complete departmental reports and checklists relevant to your shift, and uphold HomeTowne Studios’ high standards for guest privacy and security.   • High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1 year in previous customer service position
  • must have basic office skills such as math, cash handling, computer skills
  • basic English communication skills verbal and written
  • prior hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Conduct courtesy calls with-in 30 minutes after guest check-in
  • assists guests with request and/or complaints after regular office hours
  • may handle check-ins/check-outs and make guestroom keys for lost/lockouts
  • assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry rooms and guest laundry
  • clean, dry and fold linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc
  • provides courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area
  • ensures exceptional customer service to all guests while maintain guest privacy and safety
  • may compute bill, collect payments, and make changes for guests, post charges to property management system
  • complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts
  • maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • performs other related duties as assigned
