The Cocktail Server position at Pacific Hospitality Group plays a pivotal role in offering exceptional guest service within various hospitality settings such as bars, lounges, poolside areas, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The server is tasked with taking and delivering beverage orders while ensuring a positive, inviting environment for guests. This role demands a commitment to prompt and personalized service, a professional demeanor, and strict adherence to responsible alcohol service guidelines. Key responsibilities involve greeting guests promptly, fostering engagement through attentive service, offering expert advice on beverages and cocktails, and managing order accuracy through POS systems. This position also requires upholding safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness in serving areas, and collaborating effectively with fellow team members to enhance overall service efficiency.

Additionally, the Cocktail Server must possess strong communication skills, the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, basic math and cash handling expertise, and certifications as mandated by local regulations, including alcohol service and food handler certificates. Flexibility in working schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is essential to meet operational demands. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and maneuvering safely in crowded areas.

Pacific Hospitality Group also seeks an OS&E Coordinator responsible for orchestrating the seamless planning, purchasing, and distribution of Operating Supplies and Equipment crucial for hotel openings. This role collaborates closely with project teams, ownership, contractors, designers, and hotel department leaders to ensure all operational essentials are in place for a successful launch. Responsibilities encompass procurement coordination, budget management, inventory control, delivery oversight, setup assistance, quality inspections, and compliance monitoring. The coordinator is also involved in supporting operational readiness activities and special projects necessary for the hotel to open efficiently and smoothly.

The OS&E Coordinator position demands an ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating busy environments. Vision capabilities include near vision constantly and occasional close and far vision. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and professionally
  • provide attentive, friendly, and engaging service throughout the guest experience
  • build rapport with guests and anticipate their needs
  • answer questions regarding beverage selections, cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty offerings
  • address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary

  • accurately take beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established service standards
  • deliver beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality
  • monitor guest satisfaction and offer additional beverage service as appropriate
  • upsell premium spirits, specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and featured promotions
  • verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and company policies
  • practice responsible beverage service and notify management of any concerns
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas
  • assist with setting up and breaking down service stations
  • replenish beverage menus, napkins, glassware, and service supplies as needed
  • process guest payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures
  • communicate effectively with bartenders, managers, and other team members to ensure efficient service
  • complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
