Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance if delivering by motor route
- Reliable and economical transportation
- Flexibility to work early morning hours
- Ability to perform deliveries seven days a week, 365 days a year
- Contractual obligation to ensure route coverage if unable to deliver personally
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to navigate delivery routes independently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer service experience favored
- Reliable and self-motivated work ethic
Job Duties
- Deliver newspapers to customers' homes between 2:30 AM and 5:30 AM daily
- Ensure timely and accurate placement of newspapers in designated delivery areas
- Maintain reliable transportation and manage subcontractors if unable to perform deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service to build strong subscriber relationships
- Collect newspapers from designated pickup points early in the morning
- Adhere to delivery schedules rain, sleet, or snow throughout the year
- Manage own business operations as an independent contractor
