Known for their unique combination of chemistry, collaboration, and curiosity, the company operates with a passionate team of strategic thinkers, creative problem-solvers, thoughtful storytellers, and logistical magicians who expertly bring ideas to life from concept through production and execution. As a flexible 'work from anywhere' environment, ADVOC8 celebrates diversity and encourages each team member, known as an 'advocate', to contribute their unique perspectives every day. This approach ensures that the company continually evolves while maintaining a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. ADVOC8 partners with a wide range of clients including brands, nonprofits, and associations to design experiences that create meaningful impact in various communities and markets.

ADVOC8 is currently seeking a Market Manager based in New Orleans, LA, to support a cutting-edge program showcasing autonomous drone delivery services through community engagement. The Market Manager will act as a key field position for a global tech client, responsible for coordinating hands-on demonstrations and educating local consumers about drone delivery logistics. This role involves engaging with local retailers, food delivery services, and event organizers to facilitate interactive experiences and answer residents' questions about the technology. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Market Manager will oversee all aspects of local event execution, including staffing, communication, logistics, set-up, closeout, and financial management such as payroll and expense tracking. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Market Manager will also play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and managing a team of part-time promotional staff who will operate the drone demonstrations and ensure consistent messaging is delivered. This role involves regular training sessions, performance feedback, and mentorship to maintain a high standard of customer engagement and event quality. In addition to daily operational responsibilities, the Market Manager will collaborate closely with the production team for special events, managing logistics such as venue sourcing, vendor relations, permitting, and audiovisual requirements. Inventory management and compliance with state regulations are also essential duties. This contract position offers competitive pay based on the type and size of events staffed, with monthly payroll payments. Applicants must reside in the New Orleans area as relocation sponsorship is not available at this time.

ADVOC8 values inclusivity and strongly encourages applications from underrepresented groups. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to maintaining a diverse workforce and provides a harassment-free workplace. Employment decisions are based solely on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, age, disability, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other protected class.
