Job Description

We are a leading transportation company specializing in local freight delivery with a strong focus on developing new talent within the trucking industry. Our company is committed to providing safe, efficient, and reliable logistics services across the Nashville region and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for new drivers who are embarking on their professional trucking careers. Our operations emphasize local routes with home-daily schedules to provide work-life balance that many drivers seek. We offer comprehensive paid training and mentoring programs designed specifically for new Class A CDL drivers, helping them transition smoothly into the workforce and advance their skills and earning potential.

This role is tailored for new CDL-A drivers, including those with little to no professional driving experience but who have successfully completed a truck driving school program. As part of our New Driver/Student Mentoring Program, new hires undergo a mandatory paid training period lasting at least four weeks, during which they receive hands-on guidance and support from experienced mentors. During this onboarding phase, new drivers earn $18 per hour, gaining valuable knowledge and experience on local, no-touch freight routes. The program’s objective is to prepare drivers for the next phase of their career, where they will be promoted to our Experienced Driver division. Upon completion of training and onboarding, drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly, reflecting their advanced competencies and consistent performance.

Ideal candidates are individuals seeking to build a long-term career in transportation with stable weekly earnings and the convenience of home-daily routes. Our company emphasizes safety and professionalism, requiring drivers to maintain clear driving records without significant traffic violations or accidents in recent years. With starting wages competitive within the industry and a clear pathway for income growth as experience is gained, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to join a reputable transportation company actively invested in driver development.

As a local driver based near Nashville, Tennessee, you will benefit from daily routes that allow you to return home at the end of each shift, reducing the stress associated with long-haul trucking. Our freight is 100% no-touch, meaning you do not have to physically load or unload cargo, making the job less physically demanding. We actively welcome newly licensed CDL-A drivers with recent truck driving school certificates, even those new to the industry, providing you meet basic eligibility requirements and are committed to safety and professional growth. Our training program and structured onboarding ensure you not only understand the operational expectations but also gain confidence in your driving skills before progressing to a full-time experienced driver role with significantly higher weekly earnings.

If you are 21 years or older, hold a valid Class A CDL or a certificate from truck driving school, and have maintained a clean driving record according to our standards, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team. Whether you are fresh out of truck driving school or have less than 18 months of experience, this is an ideal pathway to launch or grow your career in the transportation industry with competitive pay, consistent local routes, and the support of a company dedicated to your success.
