Job Description
Our company is a reputable local transportation provider specializing in delivering reliable, efficient freight services within the Nashville area and its surroundings. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment for new drivers entering the transportation industry. With a structured New Driver/Student Mentoring Program, we focus on training and mentoring local Class A CDL drivers who are new to the transport sector, helping them build confidence and expertise in a safe and encouraging setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have recently acquired their CDL-A certification and seek to start a rewarding career in truck driving without prior professional experience.
The role offered is that of a local Class A CDL truck driver working on home-daily routes. The position begins with a paid onboarding and training period lasting a minimum of four weeks, where new drivers earn $18 per hour. Post-onboarding, drivers can expect a significant increase in earnings, averaging between $1,200-$1,500 weekly. Upon successful completion of the onboarding process, drivers are promoted to the Experienced Driver division, where they have the potential to earn between $1,400-$1,600 weekly. This role is specifically designed for new drivers with less than 18 months of experience seeking employment within a 50-mile radius of Nashville.
Aside from competitive pay, the job offers 100 percent no-touch freight, meaning drivers are not required to load or unload cargo themselves, which adds to the safety and convenience of the role. Candidates are expected to have a Class A CDL or a certificate from a truck driving school and must meet the established safety and driving record requirements. This includes having no serious traffic violations or at-fault accidents in the previous three years. The company emphasizes a comprehensive mentoring system to support new entrants, ensuring they are well-equipped to advance in the trucking industry while contributing to the company’s reputation for safe, dependable local freight transportation.
