The New Account Installer role at Cintas is a critical position that serves as the frontline ambassador to new customers, ensuring that the transition to using Cintas products and services is seamless and satisfactory. This full-time, regular, first-shift position involves direct interaction with customers and collaboration with various internal departments to coordinate the initial delivery and installation of products after a new account is established. New Account Installers are responsible for installing and repairing bulk product dispensers, which may require proficiency with both hand and power tools. Attention to detail is imperative, as installers must place uniforms, floor mats, and other products exactly where mutually agreed upon within the customer's premises.

The role is physically active, involving lifting, walking, and carrying products inside customer locations. Operating a company-owned vehicle such as a van or truck is a key aspect of the job, with strict adherence to Department of Transportation regulations for drivers of vehicles exceeding 10,000 pounds. The position demands a proactive attitude to set a service-oriented tone with customers, communicating effectively to uphold Cintas's standard of excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Meet all Department of Transportation requirements for driving regulated vehicles over 10,000 lbs
  • Have an active driver's license
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Obtain DOT medical certification
  • Provide documentation of previous employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience preferably in an industrial or service industry
  • Route sales experience
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Plumbing experience
  • Availability to start within two weeks after offer acceptance

Job Duties

  • Interact with customers and other departments to coordinate initial delivery of products after account sales
  • Install and repair bulk product dispensers using hand and power tools
  • Ensure uniforms, floor mats, and other products are placed in agreed locations at customer sites
  • Set a tone of excellent service for every customer relationship
  • Drive company-owned van or truck to and from customer locations
  • Lift, walk, and deliver new products inside the customer’s business
