Job Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish required
high school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience providing administrative or staff support
strong customer service skills
interpersonal skills for working with staff, leadership, and external contacts
ability to organize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
basic understanding and sensitivity to hunger and poverty issues
ability to exercise good judgement and discretion
proficiency using Microsoft Office and an ability to learn client intake software
strong moral compass and commitment to service

Job Duties

Serve as the first point of contact for neighbors visiting the Fresh Harvest Market and Benefits & Enrollment Services, ensuring a welcoming and client-centered flow of traffic
manage and monitor the Neighbor Services waiting room and service queue, ensuring efficient flow and clear communication
support Fresh Harvest Market operations including stocking inventory and maintaining a clean and organized facility
manage high volume of incoming calls and in-person visitors, assisting with SNAP application support and community resource referrals
screen neighbors for eligibility and connect them to appropriate CTFB programs and resources through interdepartmental collaboration
deliver client services using a trauma-informed, strength-based service delivery model
perform data entry, appointment scheduling, and prepare reports and documentation as required
ensure all records and documents are stored confidentially and securely
represent CTFB at community events and food distribution sites
support emergency response efforts and perform other duties as necessary, including utilizing bilingual skills for client benefit
