The Program Director, IDD Services role is a critical leadership position within ResCare Community Living. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of one to four community-based programs focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include overseeing direct support services, coordinating person-centered plans, managing healthcare and advocacy efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance, staffing, training, and financial management. The Program Director also plays an essential role in fostering strong stakeholder relationships and maintaining a safe, supportive physical environment for individuals served.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two to three years of related experience in human services
- Other education, training, licensure, or certification as required by state or regulations
- Current driver's license
- Valid car registration
- Valid auto insurance
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Reliable and compassionate work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two to three years of related experience in the human services industry preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or applicable regulations
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance

Job Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs including direct supports, person-centered planning, healthcare, advocacy, compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment
- Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation
- Make recommendations or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective actions, and terminations
- Monitor service delivery ensuring consistency, engagement, and relevance to individuals served
- Be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed
