We are currently seeking a full-time Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) specializing in awake liposuction to join our senior leadership team. This onsite role requires a hands-on approach not only in providing surgical care but also in clinical leadership and practice development. The successful candidate will play a central role in setting and maintaining high clinical standards for awake tumescent liposuction and related minimally invasive body contouring treatments. They will also contribute significantly to the growth and strategic direction of our medspa brand. Job Requirements

Active and unrestricted naturopathic physician license to practice in Arizona or ability to obtain prior to hire
Demonstrated experience performing awake tumescent liposuction and minimally invasive body contouring procedures
Strong proficiency in local anesthesia techniques, operative judgment, and perioperative patient management
Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience in aesthetic medicine or surgical procedures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to lead clinical teams
Commitment to patient-centered care
Current basic life support (BLS) certification
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred

Job Qualifications

Active and unrestricted naturopathic physician license to practice in Arizona or ability to obtain prior to hire
Demonstrated experience performing awake tumescent liposuction and minimally invasive body contouring procedures
Strong proficiency in local anesthesia techniques, operative judgment, and perioperative patient management
Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience in aesthetic medicine or surgical procedures with documented outcomes and patient satisfaction
Excellent communication skills, ability to lead clinical teams, and commitment to patient-centered care
Current basic life support (BLS) certification
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred
Experience with natural fat transfer/grafting, regenerative therapies, and aesthetic injectables (Botox, dermal fillers) preferred
Prior leadership or medical director experience within a medspa or aesthetic practice preferred
CME training or fellowship in aesthetic surgery, cosmetic procedures, or related specialties preferred
Familiarity with state regulatory environment, sedation protocols for awake procedures, and practice quality metrics preferred
Comfort with patient education, marketing collaboration, and community outreach to grow clinical services preferred

Job Duties

Perform awake tumescent liposuction and related minimally invasive body contouring procedures with high safety and aesthetic standards
Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, surgical planning, informed consent, and follow-up care tailored to aesthetic and wellness goals
Lead clinical operations and protocol development for liposuction and fat transfer procedures, ensuring evidence-based, standardized care
Supervise, train, and mentor clinical staff (RNs, medical assistants, and aestheticians) to maintain quality, safety, and excellent patient experience
Maintain compliance with state medical regulations, facility policies, infection control standards, and documentation requirements in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with the executive team on clinical strategy, service expansion, and performance metrics to support practice growth
Participate in patient safety initiatives, quality improvement projects, and professional education events or community outreach
