Job Description

VINTUS is recognized as one of the country's leading importers of family-owned, terroir-driven wines. The company boasts an impressive portfolio of prestigious wine brands including Champagne Bollinger, Champagne Ayala, Marques de Riscal, the Frescobaldi family of estates, E. Guigal, Frog's Leap, Tommasi, Dog Point, Masciarelli, Langlois, and Roseblood. These brands collectively represent a premium lineup that enriches wine programs at some of the nation's most esteemed hotels, restaurants, and hospitality groups. As a business, VINTUS prides itself on its commitment to selling wines with the same care, conviction, and long-term perspective as their producers, maintaining an authentic and passionate approach to their trade.

The role available is for a National Accounts Manager, On Premise, aimed at expanding VINTUS' reach within major national clients across the on-premise channel. This includes engagements with prominent restaurant groups, luxury hotels and resorts, airport and stadium concessions, the travel and leisure sector, and other high-volume hospitality operators. The individual in this position will be responsible for owning and cultivating relationships at the corporate buyer level, developing tailored account-specific strategies, and driving these plans effectively alongside distributor partners. This leadership role requires the ability to operate independently on a national scale while closely collaborating with the Senior Director of National Accounts and the broader national sales team.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and growing VINTUS' presence in critical national accounts. Responsibilities include developing dynamic sales plans that deliver measurable results, managing pricing strategies, ensuring compliance across distributor markets, and partnering with distributor national account teams to achieve on-the-ground execution. The role also involves collaboration with regional managers to maintain compliance and inventory health across markets. Additionally, the National Accounts Manager will lead high-profile presentations, participate in request for proposal (RFP) processes, and engage in buyer meetings—preferably in person. A key aspect of the role is to accurately forecast sales and monitor account performance against targets while continuously gathering valuable market intelligence to inform broader business strategies.

This position requires significant national travel and a strong presence in the market to nurture client relationships and drive business growth. The base salary ranges between $130,000 and $150,000, commensurate with experience. While a candidate located on the West Coast is preferred to complement existing team coverage, strong applicants nationwide will be considered. Besides a competitive salary, VINTUS offers an array of benefits to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees, including an annual performance bonus, a Simple IRA plan with a generous company match, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid parental leave, and support for business travel and expenses. VINTUS is committed to equal employment opportunity and fosters an inclusive workplace where all qualified candidates are welcomed regardless of gender, race, or other protected characteristics.
